Exton Square Mall opened in March 1973 about 25 miles northwest of Philadelphia, its square footprint built around a central Macy's. A late-1990s expansion added three more anchors, a food court, and a second floor, but competition from the larger King of Prussia mall drove rising vacancies through the 2010s. The property permanently closed on June 30, 2026, leaving only its remaining anchors and medical offices operating while owner Abrams Realty & Development's redevelopment plans remain stalled.
