Privacy Policy

The Mall Directory is an informational directory. You don't need an account to use it, and we don't collect names, email addresses, or other personal profiles. This page describes the limited data that is processed when you use the site.

Analytics

We use Vercel Web Analytics to understand aggregate site usage (page views, referrers, country-level location). It does not use cookies and does not track you across sites; data is collected in anonymized, aggregate form.

Location search

The "Find Malls Near You" feature works only when you use it. If you choose "Use My Location," your browser asks for permission first, and the resulting coordinates are sent to our server solely to compute the list of nearby malls — they are not stored. If you type a city or zip code instead, that search text is forwarded to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim geocoding service through our server to look up coordinates, subject to the OSM Foundation privacy policy.

Embedded maps and external links

Mall pages embed a map from OpenStreetMap; loading it requests map tiles from OpenStreetMap's servers. Links to mall websites, phone numbers, and Google Maps directions take you to third-party services with their own privacy practices.
