Via Port Rotterdam in Schenectady, New York, began life in 1988 as Rotterdam Square under Wilmorite Properties before Macerich took over in 2005. The single-level, 900,000-square-foot center houses 36 stores, a 450-seat food court, an aquarium, an entertainment center, and a seven-screen cinema now run by Zurich Cinemas. Kohan Retail Investment Group bought the property in 2014, sold it to Via Properties the following year, and the current name arrived in 2016.
