Boulevard Mall opened in 1962 along Niagara Falls Boulevard at the edge of Amherst, New York, offering 904,000 square feet of retail space near Buffalo for over six decades. The center closed for good in 2026, though anchors JCPenney and Gabe's, both with their own exterior entrances, were still trading as of that June. Plans call for demolition and replacement with Boulevard Place, a mixed office-and-residential development built around an urban boulevard design.
