Arden Fair Mall

Arden Fair in Sacramento, California began as an open-air complex developed by Kassis Investment, with Sears opening as its first store in 1957 before the center was enclosed and later expanded with a second level in 1990. Today the two-level mall spans 1,112,000 square feet with more than 150 tenants, with Macy's and JCPenney as anchors and a Dick's House of Sport slated to arrive in 2027, while the former Nordstrom space now houses furniture retailer RH. The mall introduced the Sacramento region to national chains including its first Nordstrom and Barnes & Noble.
