Southlake Mall

Southlake Mall sits in Hobart, Indiana, though it markets itself under the Merrillville name tied to its postal code, and stands as the only enclosed super-regional mall in Northwest Indiana. Kohl's, JCPenney, Macy's, and H&M anchor the center today, while three former anchor spaces once occupied by Carson Pirie Scott, Sears, and Forever 21 sit empty. The mall opened with just two anchors, JCPenney and Sears, before later wings expanded it to its current size.
