Lansing Mall opened in July 1969 just outside Michigan's state capital and today spans 830,052 square feet with about 60 stores, restaurants, and a food court. Its original anchors, Wurzburg's, Federal's, and Montgomery Ward, have all since been replaced through decades of retailer changes, leaving JCPenney as the mall's sole department store today alongside tenants like Dunham's Sports, Barnes & Noble, and a 12-screen theater. Kohan Retail Investment Group and Summit Properties USA currently own and manage the property.
