University Park Mall

University Park Mall has served the South Bend and Michiana region of Mishawaka, Indiana since opening in 1979 with JCPenney, Sears, L.S. Ayres, and Hudson's as its original four anchors. Hudson's became Marshall Field's in 1997 before closing in 2006 and giving way to an outdoor concourse anchored by Barnes & Noble, while L.S. Ayres converted to Macy's the same year. Now holding over 100 stores across roughly 900,000 square feet, the Simon Property Group-managed mall added a food court in 1995.
