White Oaks Mall
Springfield, Illinois
White Oaks Mall opened in 1977 on Springfield's southwest side at the junction of Veterans Parkway and Wabash Avenue, and its 928,772 square feet make it the largest shopping center in Central Illinois. Current anchors include Malibu Jack's family entertainment center, an Illinois Environmental Protection Agency office, and Dick's Sporting Goods, while Michaels and Esporta Fitness occupy the former Montgomery Ward space. The mall's old Sears building was converted into state government offices in 2025.
