The Mall in Columbia is off Route 29 South at Exit 20B, about 20 miles from Baltimore and 25 from Washington, D.C., with an AMC near The Cheesecake Factory and a play area in front of JCPenney. Parking is free, with optional paid preferred spaces.

Serving as the retail heart of the planned community of Columbia, this enclosed center opened in 1971 and now houses more than 200 specialty stores. AMC Theatres, Lidl, Main Event Entertainment, Barnes & Noble, JCPenney, Macy's, and Nordstrom anchor the mix, alongside dining options like PF Chang's, Maggiano's Little Italy, and The Cheesecake Factory. Developer Howard Research & Development also built the surrounding Town Center neighborhood.
