Opened in 1930 as the world's largest building at the time, with 4 million square feet of space, Merchandise Mart sits where the branches of the Chicago River meet in downtown Chicago. The Art Deco landmark still functions as a wholesale and design hub, home to the Shops at the Mart, a public Design Center, and tenants including Motorola Mobility and Conagra Brands. Vornado Realty Trust has owned the building since 1998.
