Alderwood is in Lynnwood, about 15 miles north of Seattle, at the Alderwood Mall Parkway exit from I-5. Parking is free, with EV chargers in the Nordstrom parking deck and two surface lots, and an AMC theater sits outside the food court in The Terraces.

Alderwood, the region's largest mall in Snohomish County, anchors retail in Lynnwood, Washington, combining a traditional enclosed structure with two open-air sections known as The Village and The Terraces. JCPenney, Macy's, and Nordstrom serve as anchor stores at the property, which opened in 1979 and is operated by GGP under Brookfield Properties. It also claims one of the first Zumiez stores and the first Daiso location in the United States.
