Bayside Marketplace

Facing Biscayne Bay and the Miami city marina, Bayside Marketplace opened in April 1987 as an open-air festival marketplace meant to spark downtown Miami's revival. Its North and South Pavilions now house the Skyviews Miami Observation Wheel and PIER 5, a nightclub venue that launched in January 2024 with live music and DJ sets. Proximity to PortMiami keeps the complex popular with cruise-ship tourists, and Ashkenazy Acquisition Corporation and Brookfield-owned GGP jointly manage the property.
