Meadows Mall spans 84 acres and 945,000 square feet across two stories in Las Vegas, Nevada, with 122 stores and five anchors: Curacao, Nellis Auction Outlet, a Dillard's clearance outlet, JCPenney, and Macy's. First proposed in 1973, construction was delayed for years by city objections to the site before Dayton-Hudson Corporation and builder Ernest W. Hahn Inc. finally opened it on August 5, 1978, as the city's second major indoor mall. General Growth Properties acquired the property in 1998 and carried out a major renovation in 2003.
