Fashion Square Mall
Saginaw, Michigan
The Richard E. Jacobs Group built Fashion Square Mall in 1972, and it serves the Saginaw, Michigan area from its location on Bay Road north of the city. Sears and JCPenney opened as original anchors alongside now-departed local department stores, while a Hudson's location added in 1976 later transformed into Marshall Field's and then Macy's. Following Sears' closure, JCPenney and Macy's remain as anchors, and Summit Properties USA currently owns and operates the enclosed center.
